Dr. Teal

Dr. Teal is an ophthalmologist, with many years of experience in laser vision correction. She graduated in medicine from the University of Western Ontario in London, in 1969. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Canada, with a specialty in Ophthalmology in New York State.

In addition to her solo ophthalmology practice, Dr. Teal has also directed Eye Laser Centers in Fort Erie and Buffalo. Further responsibilities include Chief of Surgery at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie and member of the surgical staff of the Greater Niagara Health System.

To her credit, Dr. Teal has published many articles and papers in such esteemed publications as the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology and the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Her papers have been presented to associations on both sides of the border. She is past president of the Canadian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Canadian Ophthalmologic Society and the Ontario Section on Ophthalmology.

Dr. Teal is one of the most experienced refractive surgeons in North America, having performed laser refractive surgery since 1991.
